The World of The Small - 1 End
Enjoy
Quite some time ago I learned a neat little trick in a little tutorial online. It showed that by turning the lens around, you could take a normal lens and make it into a macro lens. I had to try it out, and even thought I did not create the mount out of spare parts (that I did not have anyways), I used my extremely steady hands (yeah right) and flipped it around and held the lens steady. Needless to say nothing good came out of that day.
But I kept trying on occasion, and finally have produced a few works I am actually quite fond of. These are a look at the world of the small; the things we normally miss because our eyes, well they are just not good enough.
The final one is actually the first good one I got. I have found it funny how few people get what it is, could just be the geek in me that instantly recognizes the image as what it is: the 1 key on the number-pad of a standard keyboard. It was just lucky that I got this one, and at first I didn't like the framing of the image, but it grew on my slowly but steadily.
Enjoy

I like the idea and the material texture, but the strong transition line forming around the text is a little disturbing for me.
