The Joys Of Sharing Hobbies

So as I pulling up to my favorite little spot to park at White Rock lake, I see this couple out enjoying a nice day fishing. Well, hes enjoying the fishing, she looked more bored then I think I have ever seen another human being look. By the time I got close enough this was the position they had taken. She was out cold using him as a nice pillow.

Shots like this can be hard to get right with the seriously harsh light there was at that point of the day. With the old telephoto the colors always end up quite muddled especially in harsh sunlight like this, which is why I often convert them to black and white, but even that can be a challenge to get right. This one really shows the horribleness of the the bokeh on this lens, things just look so weird and ruff and quite a bit distracting in the out of focus bits.
